Raising forest by companies and organizations


Recently, disasters caused by extraordinary weather around the world such as large typhoons, heat waves, droughts, etc. occur frequently.Global warming is a fundamental cause of these problems.Therefore, in this project, we aim to reduce the Co2 that is the cause of global warming, and to improve and recovery the natural environment, we will do mangrove “forest making”.


The mangrove forest makes their home of sea creature, birds and mammals, nurtures a rich ecosystem, also called “sea cradle”.
However, in order to preserve the forest in a sustainable manner, it is necessary not only to have a vague image but also to create a mechanism that allows local community living nearby to feel the benefit from mangrove and get feeling want to protect them. So, in this project we introduce a style of cultivating shrimp and fish in the mangrove forest called Silvofishery. The concept of this project is to create a forest that brings “grace” to nature and human beings.

Project outline and implementation system

We plant trees of mangrove in the place that was previously aqua cultured pond by the funds we received from the project participants.
The project site is previously aqua cultured pond.Aquaculture ponds that can not be used due to deterioration of the natural environment are regenerated and revegetated by mangroves reforestation.
A local subsidiary of YL Forest visit the local village, conclude a direct contract with the community, and carry out a joint project with the community. YL Forest request to community of landowners to planting mangroves and forest management for 30 years, during which residents can freely perform Silvofishery at their own pond.
However, the right of carbon dioxide absorbed by mangroves is the contract attributable to the project side.
